About the role

ABOUT YOUR ROLE: Responsible for leading the maintenance, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the factory quality management system (ISO 9001 & TS16949), ensuring production and processes comply with relevant international and customer standards. Responsible for solving factory quality problems and continuous improvement. Responsible for quality and process support related to new product development, monitoring and managing new product quality to ensure stability during mass production. Responsible for the handling, analysis, and continuous improvement of process quality anomalies to ensure stability. Responsible for the daily management, performance appraisal, and skill development of the QA team, promoting the achievement of factory quality KPI indicators (such as FTQ, NNN, etc.), and establishing and promoting a culture of continuous quality improvement within the plant. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: - Lead and maintain the effective operation of the company's ISO 9001 and TS16949 / IATF 16949 quality management systems. - Organize and execute internal system audits, process audits (VDA 6.3), and product audits (VDA 6.5). - Act as the primary interface to coordinate and receive second-party (customer) and third-party (certification body) quality system audits. - Drive and supervise responsible departments to perform root cause analysis for non-conformities found in audits, and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). - Responsible for overall factory quality work (SQE, IPQC, OQC), establishing and maintaining product quality control standards, and guiding employees in on-site quality judgment. - Follow up on new product projects, including trial plan formulation, on-site tracking, and improvement; lead the preparation and provision of APQP core documents for automotive products (including PMAP, process special characteristics determination, PFMEA, Control Plan/CP, etc.). - Responsible for some new product trial approvals and Gate Review work, ensuring new products strictly follow the DDOS process. - Timely judge and investigate pending products on the production line, and drive responsible departments to implement improvements based on root causes. - Monitor and evaluate SPC and Cpk for key products and key performance, formulate continuous improvement plans, and lead major improvement projects (such as speed increase and scrap rate reduction). - Conduct deep investigation and analysis of internal quality issues and customer returns reported by the customer complaint window, and formulate internal corrective and preventive measures. - Perform regular on-site audits to ensure the compliance and effectiveness of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Control Plans (CP). - Participate in innovation projects, such as new process verification, new equipment introduction verification, and digital/intelligent improvements. - Responsible for the daily management, work allocation, skill training, and performance appraisal of the QA team (engineers, technicians, and inspectors). - Collect, statistic, and analyze key quality data such as NNN and FTQ, regularly chair cross-departmental quality weekly/monthly meetings, report on the status of the quality system, and collaborate with manufacturing and process departments to drive systemic quality improvement. - Support other related company work to achieve overall KPIs. REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum education: Bachelor's degree. - Language proficiency: Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing (this position requires direct communication with foreign customers and the group company). - Work experience: 3+ years of quality management experience; experience in coating processes is preferred. - Major/Industry knowledge: Mechanical, Control, Chemical, Materials Science, Polymer Chemistry, or related majors preferred. - Strong execution and resilience in the face of difficulties. - Strong teamwork and communication skills to seek internal and external resources. - Strong logical thinking and ability to develop independent ideas and theories. - Ability to independently plan, organize, solve, and report on projects. - Innovative thinking and a strong willingness to learn and self-study. - Willingness to work in workshop environments with solvents. - Experience in automotive product development is a plus. - Familiar with ISO9000, IATF16949 system standards & VDA 6.3 & 6.5 requirements. - Familiar with IATF16949 five core tools, able to lead PFMEA and corresponding control plans, and independently use Minitab for SPC and MSA analysis; Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Fluent English (listening, speaking, reading, writing)
  • 3+ years of quality management experience
  • Degree in Mechanical, Control, Chemical, Materials Science, Polymer Chemistry or related
  • Familiarity with ISO9000, IATF16949, VDA 6.3, and VDA 6.5
  • Proficiency in IATF16949 core tools (PFMEA, Control Plan)
  • Ability to use Minitab for SPC and MSA analysis
  • Willingness to work in solvent-based workshop environments
  • Experience in coating processes (preferred)
  • Experience in automotive product development (preferred)
