You have a unique opportunity to start working in a newly completed ward building on the Jorvi campus. Our ward treats emergency abdominal surgery patients transferred from emergency clinics and observation units. Our largest patient groups are patients arriving for appendectomy, gallbladder-related ailments, gastrointestinal bleeding, pancreatitis, bowel obstructions, and abdominal pain patients requiring investigation and diagnosis. Practical Nurse Job Description The practical nurse works in close cooperation with a work partner, colleagues, and doctors in a multidisciplinary team. In the practical nurse's role, you will be able to develop your nursing skills, especially in the care of patients belonging to the scope of specialized healthcare. We also work closely with two other wards of the Jorvi Abdominal Center. Our teaching nurses are actively involved in supporting your orientation. Our nurses working in three-shift work have the opportunity to plan their own shifts within the rules of the work community. Our wards use community-based activity-oriented shift planning.
