We are seeking Gate Coordinators for Helsinki-Vantaa Airport for full-time, open-ended employment. In your role, you will perform diverse check-in tasks and be responsible for the gate operations of arriving and departing aircraft. The work involves irregular shift work, where you will succeed if you are eager to learn new things and handle situations calmly and friendly. You have problem-solving skills, are proactive, possess excellent cooperation and interaction skills, and a positive attitude. The most important part of the job is ensuring safety. Compliance with aviation regulations is non-negotiable, even during busy periods. It is our priority that aircraft depart safely and on time. In this role, a genuine desire to help will take you far! We expect a genuine interest in working as a Gate Coordinator. Providing an excellent customer experience is one of our strategic goals, and you are an important part of achieving this. You will succeed in the position if you have the ability to manage overall processes and remain calm and service-oriented even in the midst of a rush. You must also have previous experience in passenger check-in agent duties. You will start in your new role on a fast schedule. We offer a full-time, open-ended employment contract starting during the autumn as agreed. In your new job, you will have the opportunity to develop yourself in a responsible position and the possibility to be trained in arrival services. Requirements for signing the employment contract include the successful completion of a basic course, online training, and a passed basic security clearance. After the course, you will start as a Gate Coordinator. Requirements for the position: - At least 18 years of age - A clean background (a basic security clearance will be conducted for selected candidates) - Fluent Finnish and good English skills; other language skills are an advantage - Ability to work under pressure - Sufficient IT skills - Willingness to work irregular shifts - Previous experience in passenger check-in agent duties The Act on the Protection of Privacy in Working Life applies to this position.
