Optician / Optometrist

Synsam is expanding. We are opening a new store in Ylivieska in early 2027 and are hiring a full‑time Optician/Optometrist for the Synsam Ylivieska optical store. The optician's role includes conducting eye examinations, providing excellent customer service, and offering solutions related to eye care and style. Opticians also participate in sales activities and spend time both in the eye examination room and in the store, delivering the best possible solutions for vision care and fashion, aligned with our Lifestyle agreement. We welcome graduates of optometry or experienced opticians. Finnish and English are required; additional languages are a plus. The ideal candidate is goal‑oriented, commercially minded, innovative, and able to work in a dynamic team. Piilolinssi- and night-vision certification is a plus. The position is full‑time (about 37.5 h/week) and permanent. Salary depends on experience and collective agreement; typical range is 3000–4000 €/month. Start date is per agreement.
