Mail Carrier

We are seeking for our client in Kotka a MAIL CARRIER FOR THE END OF SUMMER AND AUTUMN. The work of a mail carrier is an active and varied summer job where you can see the concrete result of your own work. The job is suitable for you if you are at least 18 years old and enjoy mobile and independent work. The duties include the distribution of letter mail and small packages in an agreed distribution area in Kotka. Letters, packages, magazines and advertisements are to be distributed. You will have at the disposal of the customer company's van, which has right-hand steering, so you do not need your own car for the tasks. A car distributor is required to have a B-driver's license that has been valid for at least two years. The working language is Finnish. The employer arranges work clothes, necessary equipment and orientation for the task. This is a weekday job, and the length of the working day varies according to the amount of mail and the distribution route. The work is gig-like and we are looking for people for alternate-day distribution, i.e., 2 or 3 days of work every other week, when the weekly number of hours is estimated to be about 20h per week. The salary without previous experience in the field is 10.75 €/h in accordance with the collective agreement concerning distribution. Work starts immediately after a suitable person is found and continues at least until the end of August.
