As an optometrist in a Specsavers store, you are part of a local business run by entrepreneurs and skilled colleagues. Your duties include conducting eye examinations and contact lens check-ups, explaining their results and the results of fundus photography to customers, and advising customers on choosing the best frames and lenses. If you notice abnormalities in a customer’s eyes, you can ask an ophthalmologist for an opinion through our electronic consultation system. The position is permanent and full-time, but you can also work 80% of full-time hours. The employment starts on 24 August or by agreement. Working hours follow the store’s opening hours: weekdays 10:00–18:00 and Saturdays 10:00–16:00.
