We are seeking a Metal Recovery Reliability Engineer for Terrafame in Sotkamo to work with the reliability of metal recovery. The employment is permanent and work begins as soon as possible by agreement. This is a day job with hybrid work possibilities. In the position, you are responsible for the development and monitoring of the reliability of metal recovery equipment and processes. You play an important role in supporting production, ensuring that equipment operates safely, efficiently, and according to goals. Developing maintenance and the continuous improvement of the ODR (Operator Driven Reliability) operating model are central parts of your task. You act as a link between production and plant services, developing user-centric maintenance and ensuring that operating models related to daily operation, inspections, and condition management of equipment support reliability goals. You will work in close cooperation with the production organization, plant services, technical experts, and the project organization. Key tasks: - Monitoring, analyzing, and developing the reliability of metal recovery equipment and processes - Developing user-centric maintenance operating models in cooperation with production and plant services - Maintaining, developing, and implementing the ODR operating model in the production organization - Developing equipment condition management, inspection practices, and early detection of faults - Performing root cause analyses of reliability-related disturbances and faults - Defining development measures and monitoring implementation in cooperation with plant services - Participating in investment and development projects related to reliability - Training operation and maintenance personnel and developing competence - Continuous improvement of safety, utilization rate, and cost-effectiveness We expect from you: - University degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, or a similar field - A development-oriented and systematic approach to work - An analytical way of working - Good communication skills and a willingness to learn new things - Fluent Finnish language skills You will get to develop operations where production and maintenance meet. Experience in the process, metal, or mining industry, development of reliability and maintenance, and utilization of maintenance systems is considered an advantage. If your IT skills are also at an excellent level, you will get a great start in the position.
