Mechanical Assembly Technician

In this role, you will work on varied mechanical machine-assembly tasks involving Metso Lokotrack machines and stone crushers. Your workdays will consist either of independently completed subassemblies or more demanding assemblies carried out together with a partner or a larger group. We offer you a 12-month fixed-term employment relationship through Biisoni. There are excellent opportunities to continue in the role after this period. The workplace is near central Tampere, with good transport connections. Work is mainly on the day shift, but we also hope you are prepared to work two shifts. Work will begin by agreement during November or December. Pay is determined according to your experience and skills under the Technology Industry collective agreement. What do we hope for from you? Training as a vehicle or machinery mechanic provides a good foundation for the role. Technical skills and a good overall understanding will help you succeed, and we value previous experience in assembly and installation work. Knowledge of hydraulics and the ability to read drawings are considered an advantage. Interest and hobbies involving cars and engines can also support your success. We also value cooperation skills and a positive attitude, as you will work closely as part of a team.
