Practical Nurse

We are seeking five practical nurses to join an elderly care home, Attendo Pläkkäri, in Turku. The new 25-bed, around-the-clock care home in Mälikkälä will begin operations in November. At Attendo, we aim to be a home for our residents, an important partner for their families, and a force for positive change in society. As a practical nurse, you will assess residents’ resources, identify assistance needs, plan, implement and evaluate care and functional ability with residents, and ensure high-quality daily living. You will work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized, comprehensive care and medication administration according to the care plan. You will support residents’ functioning and independence, enable meaningful daily activities such as outdoor time and resident events, collaborate with families and the multidisciplinary team, and document and evaluate care. The role is full-time, permanent, three-shift work; start date at the end of October with a mutually agreed schedule. We require: social and health care basic degree (practical nurse), vaccination against infectious diseases for the duration of employment, Hygieniapassi or eligibility to obtain it within three months, fluent Finnish, police clearance for a term exceeding three months in positions involving minors, elderly or disabled clients, and Sote-ammattikortti (professional card).
