Electrical/Automation Designer

Do you want to join a demanding and long-term machinery project where you can influence design solutions and see the impact of your work as part of a large-scale project implementation? In this role, you will act as an expert in electrical and automation design in close cooperation with the client and the project team. We are looking for an experienced electrical or automation designer for our client in Pori to strengthen the project team in a significant machinery project. The role emphasizes technical problem-solving, overall system management, and the ability to advance design in collaboration with various stakeholders. There is an opportunity for partial hybrid work in this position. **In your role:** · You are responsible for the design of electrical and automation solutions as part of a large machinery project · You work with the client and experts from other design fields · You participate in the definition and development of technical solutions · You ensure the quality of design, documentation, as well as the review of design drawings and verification of technical correctness · You play an active role in the project's technical discussions and decision-making · You support and guide younger colleagues in design work as needed and share your expertise to support the project's progress **We hope for:** · Relevant education in electrical or automation engineering · At least five years of experience in electrical or automation design · Experience with Siemens environments · E3 proficiency or strong experience with similar electrical design tools · Ability to work independently and take responsibility for overall systems · Willingness to guide younger designers and review design materials from the perspective of quality, feasibility, and technical requirements · Good cooperation and interaction skills · Fluent skills in Finnish and English **Why us?** In this position, you will be responsible for a large project implementation and bring your expertise to support the entire team.
