Product Director (Payments & Regulatory)
Trust Wallet is the leading non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet, trusted by over 200 million people worldwide to securely manage and grow their digital assets. Our vision is to give individuals the freedom to own their assets, confidently participate in the future economy, and access opportunities that enhance their lives. Our mission is to be a trusted personal companion — helping users safely navigate Web3, the on-chain economy, and the emerging AI-powered future. With support for over 10 million assets across 100+ blockchains, Trust Wallet offers a seamless, multi-chain experience backed by industry-leading self-custody technology, a vibrant community, and a growing ecosystem of partners. We are looking for a seasoned Product Director to own and drive our payments and regulatory product vertical. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role at the intersection of crypto, fintech, and compliance — sitting at the heart of how we bring real-world utility to Web3. You will lead a product team, work closely with engineering, legal, marketing and business development, and engage directly with merchants and partners to shape the future of crypto-native payments. Define and execute the product roadmap across stablecoin payments, fiat on/off ramp, merchant payment gateway, card-issuing partnership and cross-border payments. Navigate and translate global regulatory requirements into clear, actionable product decisions — ensuring compliance without sacrificing user experience. Partner with legal and compliance teams to anticipate regulatory shifts across key jurisdictions and build ahead of them. Work directly with merchants and payment partners to understand integration needs, pain points, and opportunities — translating them into product requirements. Drive alignment across engineering, operations, and business development on roadmap priorities and go-to-market timeline, market readiness, and revenue delivery plans. Own the end-to-end lifecycle of payment products — from discovery and scoping through launch, iteration, and scaling. Create and operate structured governance models with merchant partners through regular cadence (QBRs), performance tracking (activation rates, conversion, engagement, and ROI etc), and opportunity area. What You Bring: 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in payments, fintech, or crypto. Deep understanding of payments infrastructure — card networks (Visa/Mastercard), stablecoins, fiat rails, and cross-border payment flows. Hands-on experience navigating financial regulations across multiple jurisdictions. Proven ability to lead and grow a product team in a fast-moving environment. Strong track record of working with merchants or payment partners in an external-facing capacity. Comfortable operating in a decentralized, global, async-first environment. Web3-native mindset — you understand the nuances of crypto UX, wallet infrastructure, and on-chain/off-chain dynamics. Added Advantage: Deep knowledge of the crypto and blockchain ecosystem, including trends, emerging technologies, and growth models. Comprehensive understanding of Trust Wallet’s product suite, competitive positioning, and strategic role in the crypto space. Strong business judgment with the ability to articulate compelling value propositions in the Web3 domain. Solid experience working with LLMs / AI systems (agents, prompts, RAG, etc). Additional Information: This is a global and fully remote role. You must have the right to work for the country you are based.
