We are looking for a thesis supervisor for Brusaby in Kimito for the period 1.9.2026-31.7.2027. The employment is a fixed-term substitute position. The employment begins by agreement as soon as possible and is a full-time position. Your duties include continuously supervising undergraduate students during their studies and taking responsibility for the preparation and follow-up of the student's personal development plan for competence (PUK). You maintain contact with guardians and are the student's primary contact at the school. You teach in the area of Study and Career Planning Skills. You work closely with teachers and special education teachers regarding students' studies. You also have an important role in marketing all of Axxell's educational programs and act as a contact link to counselors in various schools and organizations. Your place of work is Kimito (Brusaby). The language of instruction is Swedish and partially Finnish. Qualification requirements for the position are according to the Decree on the Qualification Requirements for Teaching Personnel (986/1998). This implies a suitable university degree and 3 years of work experience in the industry. If no applicants meeting the qualification requirements are found, an unqualified person may be selected for the position for a limited period. Brusaby offers 15 vocational education programs (full and partial degrees) within the natural resource and environmental sector for both youth and adults. Our teaching environment includes animal houses, stables, workshops, and a small animal clinic on the campus area, as well as school farms in Brusaby and Strömma. Salary according to the collective agreement for the private education sector. For a qualified applicant, this means a salary of 3,007.92 – 4,735.91 (100%) depending on qualifications and experience. A 3-month probationary period applies.
