Sales Assistant

We are looking for energetic, goal-oriented and eager-to-learn salespeople for a permanent position to join our motivating work environment at Sector Alarm. As a Sector Alarm salesperson you play a real part in protecting people’s homes, bringing peace of mind to their daily lives, and in the best cases saving lives. Demand for home security services continues to grow. We offer consumers and small businesses Finland’s best-rated service-based alarm system. Our Trustpilot score is an impressive 4.8/5, reflecting satisfied customers. Your day, in brief: Work hours are primarily weekdays 13:00–21:00. You can work full-time or part-time, meaning three consecutive full work days. The day starts with your team at our sales office, where you train under a supervisor and set daily targets. You head to various residential areas from the office, usually with your supervisor in tow, then independently contact residents and schedule visits to their homes. You meet dozens of new people daily; the work is active and mobile. In meetings with customers at their homes you discuss how our service can protect their daily life; listening is as important as speaking. You are responsible for sales; installation is handled by a separate team. In the evening you regroup with the team to review the day and celebrate. What skills will you develop? Sales work builds self-confidence, negotiation skills and the ability to meet different people. There are daily sales trainings and supervisor coaching to help you progress. Top sellers earn over €6,000 per month; the average seller earns around €2,200. This year’s peak monthly earnings were €10,250. What we require: at least 18 years old, excellent Finnish language skills and a clean criminal record.
