Interested in winter work in a top team by Lake Ruka? We offer a unique opportunity to work in the quiet of nature. We are looking for cooks to join Ruka Safaris Oy as part of a top team. As a cook, you will work at Iisakin Talo, Kontioluola and Ukonkivi, located in Kuusamo and the scenic areas of Ruka. You will prepare food for breakfast service as well as lunch and dinner service. We require previous experience as a cook. You should be able to work independently but also be a strong team player with a genuine desire to create memorable dining moments for guests. If you bring a positive and proactive attitude, it will take you far. We offer a fantastic opportunity to work in beautiful facilities with excellent recreational opportunities around you and supportive supervisors and a great team. There are two positions available: one for breakfast/lunch shifts and one for buffet shifts. The employment is fixed-term from 23.11.2026 to 31.03.2027. The pay is competitive and will be around 15–17 €/h depending on your experience, and accommodation at a affordable price can be arranged on-site if needed. The selected candidate will be employed through Lisäpalvelu Pohjois-Suomi Oy, and we also provide Lisäpalvelu’s support and security throughout your journey. We ensure everything goes smoothly and that you enjoy your time at the location. What we expect from you: relevant training and at least 1 year of experience in similar tasks; a positive work attitude; good social skills and the ability to handle pressure; Hygiene passport; Finnish language skills are mandatory; driving license B; a car is a plus.
