The Helsinki City technical and urban planning unit seeks a permanent Real Estate Registry Clerk to support property formation, property registry maintenance, geodetic calculations for zoning plans, and spatial data production. The duties include registering decisions of real estate transactions and registry holders, maintaining spatial data sets, preparing delivery and decision documents related to registrations and transactions, registry inquiries and basic data improvements, and customer guidance related to real estate formation and registry services. The role requires knowledge of real estate formation and land-use legislation, ability to interpret old real estate transaction documents and contract documents, and management of registry databases and large geospatial data sets. The candidate should apply professional knowledge in statutory tasks and other practical situations, be customer‑oriented and have good interaction skills. The position requires a suitable secondary level degree (e.g., surveyor or former map drafter) and good written and spoken Finnish. Prior experience in land formation, real estate registration and maintenance of geospatial datasets is a plus, as is Swedish language ability. Salary is based on the demands of the role: 2,777.91 EUR per month, with a 0–8% experience-based supplement.
