About the role

Are you interested in quantum computing and quantum algorithms? QMill is developing new quantum algorithms that could solve specific problems better than any classical solution. We are looking for an experienced optimization algorithm developer to join our quantum algorithm team in Espoo, Finland. Your key goals are to develop efficient optimization algorithms using both classical and quantum resources and demonstrate their use in customer use cases. The classical algorithms should be adapted to parallel processing on local GPU clusters or on supercomputers such as Lumi. You’ll participate in the development and the design of the algorithms and the software architecture of the implementations. You derive requirements for the optimization algorithms and software and communicate with customers to understand use case specifications and requirements.
