Health Centre Physician

In Loimaa, there are two substitute health centre physician positions available: one starting in early August and another in early December; the duration of the substitutions is negotiable. In Pöytyä, a substitute health centre physician position is available for the period 30.11.2026 - 31.8.2027. Your Role The work includes unhurried appointment-based health centre physician receptions and, depending on the health station, urgent care receptions. The work involves versatile and holistic care of patients. Depending on your interests, you have the opportunity to expand your job description and perform sector work, for example, in maternity and child health clinics, schools, home care, or enhanced service housing units. The job description and working hours are flexibly negotiable. Part-time work is also possible. In a small work community, you will get to know your colleagues quickly, which facilitates cooperation. We have highly effective direct receptions for physiotherapists and independent reception activities for nurses. All care and therapy staff positions are filled across the region. Introduction to these health centres: Loimaa's main health station is a medium-sized station with 15 physicians, located approximately 65 km from Turku towards Tampere. In addition to your own car, you can travel to Loimaa by train. The work community in Loimaa is considered the best by the staff. For several years, Loimaa has received an honorable mention from the Finnish Medical Association as a 'Kandi-friendly' (medical graduate friendly) health centre. The patient information system used is OMNI/Pegasos. Pöytyä's Riihikoski main health station is a 9-physician health station. Riihikoski is approximately 35-40 km from Turku towards Tampere. The driving time from Turku is about 30 minutes via the motorway. What we expect from you The eligibility requirement is legalization or a permit to act in physician duties as stipulated in the Act on Health Care Professionals 559/94. The language requirement is good oral and written Finnish skills. Knowledge of Swedish is considered an advantage. Great!
