About the role

We are looking for a cheerful and positive childcare worker with a focus on the best interests of the child for Lagstads Daycare. You will work in a toddler group with children aged 1-3 years, together with a teacher and another childcare worker. Your duties include care and upbringing, participating in the planning of activities, documentation and evaluation, as well as implementing the planned activities. You will participate in the development and implementation of the children's group plan for early childhood education and ensure the child's basic physical needs are met together with the other staff in the group. Workplace and address: Lagstads daghem, Esbogatan 7, 02070 Esbo Working hours: 38 hours 15 minutes per week Collective agreement: AKTA General municipal civil service and employment collective agreement The job is for a fixed term. The position will be filled as soon as a suitable, qualified applicant is found. Qualification requirements: - Qualification in accordance with the Act on Early Childhood Education and Care (540/2018) - A basic degree suitable for the task in pedagogical activity and guidance, a basic degree in the social and health care sector, or another equivalent degree. E.g., childcare worker, daycare worker, and nursing assistant (competence area for pedagogical activity and care of children and young people). - Excellent oral and written skills in Swedish. We require: - The selected person must present a criminal record extract according to Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act (770/1993). - The Communicable Diseases Act requires the investigation of the risk of tuberculosis infection for employees in the social and health care sector and for those working with children under school age. We value good cooperation skills. You should be able to work effectively with colleagues, create a positive working environment, have a genuine interest in the child's thoughts and development, and maintain a solution-oriented attitude in everyday life.
