Health center doctor

Welcome to the health center doctor position in Eastern Uusimaa region. We are seeking two health center physicians for a permanent position starting 12 October 2026, or per agreement. The job is primarily based at the Porvoo unit, but includes duties in Askola, and our doctors are employed by the welfare district for the whole area. In Askola, we also serve residents of Myrskylä and Pukkila. We are looking for a general practitioner, a doctor in training, or a general practitioner with specialization. In the outpatient setting you will work in a versatile multi-professional and humane work community. The role includes both consultative work and regular appointment-based visits, and, as desired, pediatric or school health services could be included. Our area is part of the Hus-education health centers system. We have a genuinely development-oriented atmosphere and good opportunities to influence your own job description and working hours. It is also possible to negotiate partial remote work. Occupational health services are provided by Mehiläinen. Eligibility requirement is a licensed physician in Finland. Language requirements include fluent written and spoken skills in one domestic language and sufficient speaking skills in the second domestic language. Terms of employment are governed by the Doctors’ collective agreement. A probation period applies. Salary is determined according to the career step system, starting from 6034 €/month for recent graduates and 7160 €/month for specialists. Additional performance pay is provided separately. The career step system enables positive salary development in the future. The position requires vaccination protection as per Infectious Diseases Act § 48 and tuberculosis screening per the Public Health Act § 55.
