Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily inspection tours of generators, hybrid solar systems, and UPS inverters
  • Conduct daily readings of electricity meters and fuel levels in daily tanks and inter-agency security stocks
  • Record data in physical registers and Excel tracking files
  • Report anomalies such as unusual noises, leaks, voltage drops, or breakdowns to the supervisor
  • Assist with fuel deliveries, verifying quantities and quality and ensuring safety standards during unloading
  • Execute preventive maintenance and first-level repairs (e.g., cleaning filters, replacing bulbs, minor plumbing and carpentry)
  • Prepare workspaces for specialized contractors and supervise external technicians during interventions
  • Assist in moving furniture and office equipment during reorganization
  • Prepare conference rooms technically (projectors, sound, and air conditioning)
  • Participate in periodic physical inventories of equipment
  • Check accessibility of emergency exits and the condition of fire extinguishers
  • Ensure cleanliness and security of technical rooms and fuel storage areas
  • Strictly apply safety instructions and use PPE during technical interventions

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • University degree (Bachelor's) in engineering, civil engineering, rural and urban engineering or equivalent is considered an asset
  • Technician diploma (BT2) is an asset
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in electrical design, monitoring and control of works (with high school diploma) OR 1 year of experience (with a bachelor's degree)
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and orally
  • Ability to react quickly with a sense of urgency and provide quality solutions
