About the role

Do you want to be part of developing the operations and services of Finland's largest healthcare provider? We are looking for a Project Manager for HUS IT Administration's Project Management Services for a fixed-term position. HUS IT Administration is an active operator that develops and implements new innovations in the healthcare sector. IT Administration is a HUS result unit that provides information system solutions and services to the HUS joint venture, its partners, and subsidiary and associate companies. We are seeking a Project Manager for a fixed-term position within the Development Steering responsibility area, in the Project Management Services unit. Project Management Services operates as part of the Development Steering responsibility area, which is tasked with renewing and unifying the operation-based ICT development of the HUS joint venture and steering the related development and project activities. The current position is located within the administrative business management renewal project, which renews the business management supporting the core functions of HUS's finance, human resources, and materials management. Job Description As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, monitoring, and reporting of project entities related to the administrative business management renewal project. In this role, you will work in close cooperation with various HUS operators, IT Administration experts, suppliers, and other stakeholders. The project is a significant operational renewal for HUS, where system renewal supports the development and unification of processes. In your role: * you are responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of the project entities * you ensure the monitoring, reporting, and documentation of project progress * you ensure that projects progress according to goals, schedule, and budget * you identify project risks, dependencies, and change needs and promote necessary solutions * you work in close cooperation with HUS experts, IT Administration, suppliers, and other stakeholders * you follow HUS's common project management operating models and quality requirements. The role emphasizes collaboration skills, holistic management, and the ability to purposefully advance extensive and phased development entities. What we expect from you Success in the position requires: * at least three years of experience in project management roles for extensive information system or business management projects * strong IT project management expertise and a track record of successful IT project implementation * understanding of the implementation of extensive integration solutions * ability to manage broad entities and advance multiple matters simultaneously * good collaboration and interaction skills and a customer-oriented approach * a proactive, goal-oriented, and solution-focused way of working * ability to quickly adopt new operating environments and content * stress tolerance and the ability to operate in changing situations. Additionally, we value: * experience in system renewals for ERP, finance, personnel, or materials management * knowledge of HUS administrative processes, IT Administration services, or project management operating models * experience in public procurement and supplier cooperation * knowledge of project management methodologies. We offer you an independent and responsible position where you can work on an extensive renewal project. Our office is located in Helsinki with good transport connections. We work hybridly, and remote work is possible 2–3 days a week, provided the tasks allow it. The position-specific salary is €4,402.77/month plus possible experience and other additions. The position is fixed-term. Employment begins on October 1, 2026, or by agreement, and lasts until October 30, 2029. The position is subject to a six-month probationary period. Interested?
