Job Description

We are seeking a project worker for a fixed-term position from September 1, 2026, to May 31, 2028. In this role, you will develop services for children, youth, and families, as well as build and embed multidisciplinary operating models as part of the Central Finland Wellbeing Services County's development projects. Working hours are split equally between two projects: the development of Anchor (Ankkuri) activities and violence work in Central Finland, and the Yhteys project (joint support and cooperation to reduce the risk of youth crime). The Central Finland Wellbeing Services County has received grants for both development projects. The goal of the projects is to develop and embed operating models, strengthen cooperation between different actors, and promote timely support for children, youth, and families. In the project for developing Anchor activities and violence work in Central Finland, your duties include: - planning, implementing, and supporting the practical rollout of project measures - cooperating with co-implementers, authorities, and other project actors - strengthening the participation of the target group - participating in project communication, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting In the Yhteys project (joint support and cooperation to reduce the risk of youth crime), your duties include: - developing a multidisciplinary team model and strengthening operating procedures - coordinating team activities and supporting implementation in practical work - monitoring and evaluating work using agreed indicators - monitoring and reporting on project progress Administratively, the position is located within the child welfare outpatient care organization, and the supervisor is the service manager of outpatient care. Your immediate working group includes an Anchor project worker and police social work staff. We expect experience in project and development work and an interest in developing services for children, youth, and families. We value expertise in violence work, good interaction and networking skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to coordinate cooperation between different actors. The role also requires planning skills and the ability to support the embedding of new operating models into practice. You will build and strengthen operating models that have long-term effects on the wellbeing services county's services and their development. The work is mobile and requires some travel within the Central Finland wellbeing services county. Access to a car is considered an advantage. The main office is located in Jyväskylä, but work is also possible at other wellbeing services county sites. Remote work is possible, up to 40 percent of working hours, provided the tasks allow it. Position-specific salary €3,485/month. In addition to the position-specific salary, we pay a work experience supplement of 3% for 5 years and 8% for 10 years. Please also note the good public sector employment terms, such as vacation days. The accumulation of vacation days is determined by your work experience—the more experience, the more earned vacation days. As employment benefits, we offer a wide range of corporate discounts that you can use with a staff card. ************************ Eligibility requirement is a university of applied sciences degree suitable for the social field in accordance with Section 3 and Section 8 of the Act on Social Care Professionals (817/2015). The position also requires a suitable higher university degree. The selected person must present a criminal record extract in accordance with Section 6 of the Criminal Records Act (working with children). The terms of employment are determined in accordance with the social and health care employment and official agreement (SOTE agreement). We require suitability in accordance with Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (chickenpox and measles). The employer determines the need for influenza and pertussis vaccinations.
