Carrus Delta Oy has been a Finnish bus body factory since 1935, operating in close cooperation with Volvo Bussar AB. The company is one of Europe's oldest body manufacturers, and its products include the Volvo 9700 and Volvo 9700 DD. Approximately 200 professionals from various fields work at the body factory in Lieto. Electrical Designer - do you want to design the buses of the future in an international operating environment? Carrus Delta Oy is looking for an electrical designer for a permanent position at the Lieto factory to join its growing expert team. What you will do in the role We offer the opportunity to work at the forefront of the Finnish vehicle industry and participate in the development of electrical systems for modern buses. In this role, you will influence the functionality, safety, and user experience of vehicles from concept to finished product. As an electrical designer, you will be responsible for the design of bus electrical systems as part of a skilled design team. Your tasks will include, for example: - Design and development of electrical systems - Drawing circuit diagrams - Design of wiring harnesses - Selection of electrical components and equipment - Equipment placement design and creation of layouts - Cooperation with production, product development, and other stakeholders - Customer-tailored solutions for international projects The work offers diverse challenges in both product development and customer-specific solutions.
