Food Service Worker

The food service worker works in dishwashing, assists in lunch preparation, and refills the serving lines and display cases. They are responsible for designated self-monitoring and cleaning tasks, participate in the receipt and storage of goods, and assist with decision-maker coffee services. Additionally, the duties include: - preparation of salads - handling ordered coffee services - managing the student cafe, including cash register responsibility, money transfers, and settlements - guiding workplace learners The position requires a cook's degree, a hygiene passport, cash register skills, work experience in the field, and good oral and written proficiency in Finnish. Successful performance of the duties also requires customer service and teamwork skills, IT skills, the ability to get along with employees from different cultural backgrounds, and a brisk work ethic. A probationary period applies to the employment relationship. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract in accordance with Act 504/2002.
