Team Lead Automation Technology

For the Region Halle /Merseburg /Bitterfeld we are looking for a Team Lead Automation Technology (m/f/d) with experience in leading and coordinating automation projects and expertise in the design and configuration of automation systems, to build and support our team in the region. Your tasks include autonomous leadership and coordination of automation projects from conception to commissioning; project control and coordination of various trades and suppliers; development and implementation of automation concepts for process plants, including retrofit measures; determining requirements and coordinating with responsible functions at the customer for tasks and layout of the control technology; planning, design and commissioning of new plants, including the creation of specifications and software and hardware specifications; knowledge in the design, configuration and integration of automation systems as well as the creation of user-friendly visualizations; fault analysis, maintenance and continuous improvement of control and automation systems to ensure smooth operation; creation of technical documents, functional descriptions and concepts to support internal and external stakeholders. Your qualifications include: degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Automation), technician training or comparable qualification; several years experience in planning, implementation and optimization of automation systems; knowledge in design and configuration of automation systems and at least one specialization (Siemens PCS7, ABB 800xA, Emerson Delta V) or comparable system; leadership experience; willingness to continue training and acquire new knowledge in process automation; good to very good German and English proficiency. We also value: basic MES knowledge; process engineering knowledge of continuous or batch processes. Note: projects are administratively coordinated from Berlin; deployment is Halle/Merseburg/Bitterfeld region. Under the mobile work agreement there is possibility to work flexibly from home on some days outside the client site.
