We are looking for a nurse for a permanent employment contract for the Neurology Rehabilitation Ward in the Synapsia building. Your work will emphasize a functional capacity-maintaining approach in our competent and multidisciplinary work community. About us: We are a 23-bed ward and provide demanding rehabilitation mainly for working-age patients who have suffered a cerebrovascular accident or brain injury. Patients are transferred to our ward directly from hospital care, and the average rehabilitation period on our ward lasts a month. Our ward is located in the Synapsia building on Nordenskiöldinkatu, but we will move to the new Laakso joint hospital in 2028. About the job: Working at the Neurology Rehabilitation Ward is interesting and versatile rehabilitative nursing work that offers professional development opportunities for both new colleagues and experienced veterans. You will receive an individual orientation for your job, during which you will not be counted towards the unit's strength. This allows you to focus calmly on learning and mastering the tasks. You will receive support from active supervisors and experienced nursing professionals. Additionally, you will always have competent colleagues to rely on. The work is multidisciplinary, and we work closely with experts from different fields. This enriches everyday life and provides a broad perspective on the holistic care of patients. Neuro-nursing is rewarding and meaningful, and you can influence patients' recovery and see the results of your work concretely. The work emphasizes guiding, active, and interactive cooperation with rehabilitants and their families. The work is three-shift work, and you can easily coordinate your work and free time through community shift planning. HUS is Finland's largest provider and employer of specialized medical care. The position-specific nurse's salary is €3,024.27/month. A six-month probationary period applies to new employment contracts. Eligibility requirements: Licensed nurse. Language requirements: Good oral and written skills in Finnish and satisfactory oral and written skills in Swedish, OR good oral and written skills in Swedish and satisfactory oral and written skills in Finnish. We require vaccination protection according to the Communicable Diseases Act for those working in customer and patient areas, and a health certificate for pulmonary tuberculosis for those working in healthcare units.
