Space Systems Engineer

Lead spacecraft development, drive innovation and make a real impact across the future of space exploration. We are looking for a Senior Space Systems Engineer to join our dynamic Space team. We seek an individual whose expertise and passion can contribute to a wide range of space missions. At Gofore, our work spans not only Earth observation and space exploration but also encompasses communications, navigation, technology demonstration, and other mission types. By joining us, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in diverse projects that push the boundaries across the entire space sector and make a real impact. Our space team has provided software for many of Europe’s most ambitious space missions since 1989, including the Gravity field and steady-state Ocean Circulation Explorer (GOCE), the Herschel Space Observatory, and the Planck satellite. We are currently involved in the PLATO mission and the LISA mission. Our team has received the ESA Excellence Award for Sentinel-4 and Sentinel-5 missions. As a Senior Space Systems Engineer, you will lead spacecraft systems engineering activities, define system architecture, collaborate on flight software, and support sales. You will also lead engineering teams through complex project phases, fostering collaboration and high performance.
