Primary location: KOTKA Seeking a permanent and full-time (37.5 h/week) HAIR SALON MANAGER, HAIR SERVICES, KYMEN SEUDUN OSUUSKAUPPA We are looking for a Hair Salon Manager to be responsible for the operations, customer experience, and personnel management of Kymen Seudun Osuuskauppa's Hair Service locations. Hair Services has five salons in Kotka and three in Kouvola. The Hair Salon Manager works with a developmental approach and an inspiring attitude. In addition to leading by example, they encourage and share knowledge within the work community. They are a goal-oriented and positive leader of people with a proven track record of developing profitable business and successful supervisory work and/or similar roles of responsibility. Personnel and customer satisfaction metrics are interesting and useful tools for them as measures of continuous development. In addition to being people-oriented, the Hair Salon Manager operates effectively, develops sales goal-orientedly, and makes justified strategic choices. Independent decision-making and managing large entities come naturally to them. What do we expect from the future Hair Salon Manager? - Experience in supervisory work and/or similar roles of responsibility. You are ready to lead work groups of various sizes across several different locations. The supervisory responsibility of the role covers approximately 40 barbers/hairdressers, including assistant managers who share daily responsibilities with you. - Knowledge of the daily operations of the barber/hairdressing industry and versatile expertise in the work of a barber/hairdresser. In your role, you will also be involved in operational work as one of our skilled customer service professionals. - A coaching leadership style. You can inspire and support the team without prejudice and by considering individual needs. You lead boldly yet flexibly, showing the direction for daily activities. - A goal-oriented and result-driven approach. You are motivated by targets and actively monitor key figures. You utilize data in your decision-making and operational development. You are able to address deficiencies when necessary. - Good stress tolerance and a solution-oriented attitude. Unexpected situations do not shake you, and you can make justified decisions even under pressure. - Excellent cooperation and interaction skills. You operate naturally with both internal and external stakeholders. You also know how to share responsibility and ask for help. - Self-management skills. You can manage your own time, set your own goals, and develop yourself so that you can perform in your role in the best possible way. - Knowledge of S Group systems is considered an advantage. All of these can, of course, be learned, so the most important things are an open-minded attitude and a desire to learn new things! The selected person is required to be willing to work throughout the Kymenlaakso region, in shifts according to the opening hours of all our units. The selected person is required to have commendable Finnish language skills. Other language skills are considered an advantage.
