New career opportunities at the Neurocenter! Do you want to take holistic charge of the care pathway for stroke patients? Are you looking for a dynamic job description where you can work both in the ward and in monitoring? We are looking for a registered nurse for the Stroke Unit for a permanent employment contract. The position begins on September 28, 2026. About Us Our ward M7A has 12 patient beds. Our largest patient group consists of stroke patients, and we specialize particularly in working-age stroke patients. Patients primarily arrive at the ward via the emergency department or the Stroke Unit monitoring. Our ward is divided into two pods, but we treat patients in cooperation between the pods. Patients have varying levels of function, ranging from bedridden to independent. From our ward, patients either move to follow-up care or are discharged home. The Stroke Unit monitoring has six patient beds. In our unit, we treat acutely ill stroke patients who primarily arrive via the emergency department. We specialize in thrombectomy and thrombolysis patients, and the unit also treats respirator patients. Patients are acutely ill, requiring intensive care and monitoring. Job Description The job description is versatile and varied, so you can be a colleague starting your career or an experienced veteran – with us, you can deepen your expertise. We offer comprehensive orientation, during which you are not counted toward the shift staffing levels. Orientation for the ward and monitoring is planned individually for you. Following the career path designed by the unit, you can progress individually from an orienting nurse to a mobile thrombectomy nurse (t-nurse) and, as your expertise grows, to an experienced shift leader. The work is three-shift work, but you have the opportunity to influence your own shifts through community shift planning. If you wish, you can join the working time bank, which helps in balancing daily life and work. We hope you can start work on September 28, 2026. Salary is according to the SOTE agreement.
