As a personal assistant, you will become part of our clients' valuable stories. At Validia, personal assistance clients are individuals covered by social services for persons with disabilities. Personal assistance involves helping with tasks at home or outside the home that the individual cannot perform due to illness or disability. Assistance may include support in hobbies or studies, household chores, or enabling participation in leisure activities. Sometimes, the main role of the assistant is to be a conversational partner and companion: a relaxed person for the individual. The role of a personal assistant is significant in supporting the client’s daily life, aiming to enable long-term independent living at home and to offer opportunities for active and meaningful everyday life, respecting the client’s autonomy. This work suits you if you seek variety and flexibility, as work is tailored to the client’s needs and wishes. You will also have the opportunity to influence your shifts in agreement with the client. You work independently and commit to agreed practices. An open attitude and your personality go a long way!
