Practical Nurse

We are seeking three (3) practical nurses for the Ostrobothnia Wellbeing Services County, with the initial placement at the Präntöön Helmi 24-hour assisted living unit in Palosaari, Vaasa. Präntöön Helmi service home provides a home for elderly people who need 24-hour assistance and guidance in daily activities. The home is a place where residents can live and realize things that are important to them and support holistic well-being. Our goal is to provide our elderly residents with a high-quality, person-centered, safe life and a vibrant daily routine. We are now looking for positive and professional nurses with a capacity for development and growth for permanent employment contracts. The work is three-shift work. Your primary task as a nurse is to care for the well-being of the residents, supporting their own resources and promoting their functional capacity. Your role is to be part of the elderly's diverse and vibrant daily life. You are reliable, responsible, and motivated to work with the elderly. A valid medication dispensing permit, a hygiene passport, and sufficient vaccination protection are considered an advantage. We value first aid skills (EA I and EA II). Those invited for an interview should bring original degree and work certificates. Eligibility requirement: Degree of Practical Nurse or a degree in accordance with the Decree on Healthcare Professionals (564/1994) or the Government Decree on Social Care Professionals (153/2016). Satisfactory oral and written skills in both national languages of the country. Those with a Practical Nurse degree are required to be registered in both professional registers of the Licensing and Supervision Authority, Terhikki and Suosikki. The selected candidate must have valid vaccination protection in accordance with Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act (1227/2016). Additionally, the selected candidate must present an extract from the criminal record as referred to in Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act. A probationary period will be applied.
