Our strengths are based on multidisciplinary expertise in measurement technologies and solutions for the management, analysis, and utilization of measurement data. We produce holistic solutions from the development of measurement technology to the efficient utilization of data. CEMIS operates in nationally significant application areas such as bioeconomy, mining industry, sports and wellness, data economy, and game and simulation technology. In this position, you will lead a network of about one hundred experts in measurement and information systems, an expert organization, and a research center with annual funding of over 12 million euros. Our goal is to further strengthen our international position, and you will have a key role in this work. We expect an enthusiastic, inspiring, and innovative approach to work. CEMIS (Centre for Measurement and Information Systems) is a joint contract-based research and education center specialized in measurement and information systems of the Universities of Oulu and Jyväskylä, VTT, CSC – IT Center for Science, and Kajaani University of Applied Sciences. CEMIS has operated in Kajaani since 2010. The Director serves at Kajaani University of Applied Sciences. In addition to CEMIS leadership duties, the Director may have other duties agreed upon between the contracting parties. The Director's remuneration and terms of service are determined in accordance with the Sivista Collective Agreement for Universities of Applied Sciences. The applicant may state a salary request.
