Road Construction Worker

Etsimme road construction workers for a busy ongoing civil engineering season! Do you enjoy the outdoors and physical, varied work? Do you have experience with demanding municipal infrastructure projects or challenging sub-surface construction sites? If yes, you might be the road builder we are looking for! We are looking for experienced road construction workers for an upcoming civil engineering season at sites in the Helsinki area. We want workers who can interpret images, use pipes and level lasers, and install various pipes. The sites vary from house foundation work to municipal infrastructure and drainage excavation, so the more diverse your experience across different sites, the better. Jobs are underway and suitable candidates can start immediately. Good candidates will have work until the season ends. Pay is based on prior experience and skill. If you meet the following requirements, you might be the right person: experience in road construction, valid professional licenses (occupational safety card and road safety card) – if not, these must be arranged before starting, good Finnish language skills – Finnish is the language of site leadership, high work ethic – work is independent and you are responsible for your workmanship, good social skills to get along with people even in tough spots.
