Food Service Worker

We are looking for a food service worker for the kitchen of the Kuninkaantampi school and daycare multi-purpose building as part of a professional and supportive team. As a food service worker, you will operate as part of the Helsinki Service Centre's multi-service unit, whose staff produces food and cleaning services in various city units. In this task, you will work in a fast-paced environment in the daycare kitchen, offering joy and energy to the daycare's small customers in the form of food. Multi-purpose building: 200 children in daycare and 200 in school. In the team, there are 2 people in addition to you. What will you do with us? In your position, you will participate diversely in the daily operation of the kitchen, preparing salads, side dishes, and pastries, as well as taking care of cleaning and dishwashing. You will assist in food preparation and, if necessary, help in neighboring sites. In this work, you will encounter many customers daily, so we expect you to meet them professionally and with a friendly smile. What do we expect from you? • Suitable education or equivalent work experience. • You have completed a hygiene passport. • You are independent and thorough. • You can manage in Finnish in work situations.
