Instructor for functional rehabilitation unit

We are recruiting an instructor for a fixed-term position in the work centre unit of the functional rehabilitation unit at Ohkolan hospital. The unit is part of the Psychiatry division under the Aivokeskus, handling functional rehabilitation services and work activities for patients in intensive rehabilitation and forensic psychiatry. The instructor’s duties include planning and guiding patient-centered functional work activities and groups, in activities such as crafts (ceramics, rug weaving, sewing) and other handicrafts, often in an open and safe environment. The role may involve some work with outdoor maintenance teams or park and yard care. The job requires an open, energetic and independent approach, strong interaction skills and rehabilitative mindset; experience with mental health rehabilitation is preferred. We value creativity, flexibility in changing situations, openness and willingness to develop rehabilitation methods. A driver's license and willingness to take on diverse tasks is an asset. The position offers an open, motivated, collaborative atmosphere with good training opportunities at HUS.
