Physician for Kirkkonummi Emergency Department

The role is to staff the Kirkkonummi urgent care with physicians. The assignment is part of a competitive bidding process and market mapping for physicians to Kirkkonummi. Start expected February 1, 2027, for an unspecified term. Working hours are evenings 15:45–20:00 on weekdays, weekends 08:00–20:00, and public holidays 08:00–20:00, on-site. The shift ends when the last patient of the shift has been treated. Requirements include a legally licensed physician in Finland (LL) or a specialist in family medicine and/or emergency medicine, experience in emergency care, no restricted medical rights, knowledge in JulkiTerhikki, fluent Finnish, at least basic Swedish, and readiness to use Lifecare, Kanta, Navitas and e-prescription services. The job involves broad open-hours urgent-care physician duties, including examining and treating urgent general medical patients, consultations, issuing certificates, death-related procedures, and standby duties as needed.
