Fiber Optic Welder

A Finnish fiber optic welder position in Vantaa. The job involves a range of fiber optic and telecommunications tasks, including welding of fiber, CAT cabling, fiber network modification and repair, fault finding and repair, measurements and testing, equipment installation and other fiber-related installation tasks. The candidate should be able to work independently on welding and modification work. We expect about 5 years of experience in similar tasks, but other capable applicants with less experience will be considered. Practical experience in fiber welding is required, along with good Finnish skills, a valid safety card, first aid training, a B-driver’s license, good references, and a self-driven, responsible work attitude. Work days typically start from home to the site. Depending on the task, either the candidate’s own car or the company car is used. Salary depends on experience, with experienced workers earning about €3,000–€3,500 per month. In addition, benefits include a lunch benefit and access to the company gym.
