Turun Ylioppilaskyläsäätiö (TYS) seeks an experienced Property Services Director for a newly established role. The director will lead the Property services team responsible for maintenance, upkeep, and technical services across the estate, manage finances and personnel, and participate in the executive leadership team reporting to the CEO. The role combines practical property maintenance know-how with personnel leadership and long-term asset development. Key duties include leading the Property services team in staff, budget and operations management; planning and developing maintenance and technical services; leading maintenance lifecycle planning (PTS) and monitoring; preparing repair and maintenance budgets and financial control; managing external service providers and contracts; guiding public tenders and framework agreements; lifecycle management of properties and ensuring operational reliability; providing reporting, government liaison, and stakeholder collaboration. The successful candidate will bring substantial experience in property upkeep and refurbishment, strong leadership and development skills, and excellent collaboration capabilities. Proficiency in M365 tools and IT systems is essential. We value practical, solution-oriented approaches and the ability to lead staff in a coaching yet firm manner.
