Sexton

Kokkolan seurakuntayhtymä seeks a sexton-grave digger for a permanent position to manage tasks at Elisabeth and Anna cemeteries. Responsibilities include cemetery maintenance and interment-related tasks, operation and maintenance of various work machines, sexton duties in the chapel and at the cemeteries, and upkeep of cemetery properties. Preferred qualifications include a suitable professional education or practical work experience in the field, skills in operating and maintaining different machines. The applicant should be a confirmed member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church. We value ability to work independently, flexibility, teamwork and customer service skills, and proficient oral and written skills in one domestic language and good oral skills in the other. Working hours are 38 hours and 15 minutes per week, including weekend work. Salary is per demand group 402 (KirVESTES) and ranges from €2,479 to €2,800 depending on experience.
