Job Description
Are you the guide we are looking for? Santa Claus Holiday Village Safaris is seeking experienced guides for the upcoming winter season to create unforgettable experiences in the unique nature of Lapland. As a guide, you will lead international customers to various winter activities. If you enjoy entertaining and creating experiences for customers and thrive in Arctic conditions, this role is for you. The company organizes diverse activities such as Northern Lights safaris, husky and reindeer safaris, and other adventure trips. The guide's role is central in an international tourism environment, where customer service, safety, and experience delivery are intertwined. Contracts are scheduled between November 2026 and March 2027. Working hours are approximately 90–120 hours per 3 weeks. Work hours vary, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays during the peak season. The employment terms follow the service sector collective agreement. The employment contract is between Bondata and the employee. Guide's responsibilities: - Safely guiding and instructing customer groups during activities - Customer service and ensuring customer comfort throughout the activity - Engaging storytelling and enhancing customer experience - Going through safety instructions and ensuring compliance - Handling equipment and preparing gear before and after activities - Collaborating with safari and other team members to ensure smooth customer experiences We offer: - Fixed-term employment in the beautiful Lapland scenery - Opportunity to work in an international and adventurous environment - Varied and active workdays - Supportive and international work community working together for customer experiences - Bondata's support regarding employment matters. We hope you have: - Previous experience as a guide; experience in northern conditions is an advantage - Fluent English skills; additional languages (especially Spanish and French) are an advantage - A valid driver’s license and winter driving experience - Good customer service attitude and proactive work approach - Strong communication and teamwork skills, and willingness to work as part of an international team - Experience with northern conditions and understanding of winter clothing and safety practices - Flexibility and readiness for shift work according to the season.
