Fågelsången Day Care consists of five children's groups with children aged one to five. It is located by Klappträsk, a scenic area where both the forest and Aurora Park are within walking distance. We have a large yard that gives children the opportunity for plenty of movement with a view over Klappträsk. We have our own gymnasium and our five-year-olds also participate in the Play and Movement project at Kameljonten every other week. There, they have the opportunity for guided gymnastics sessions under supervision. Our staff also includes a day care assistant who helps in all groups in the daily activities. At Fågelsången Day Care, you are offered the opportunity to work in a team with strong collegial support and a great focus on cooperation, both within the individual team and throughout the entire day care center. As a childcare worker in early childhood education, you are responsible, together with your team, for the children's care, upbringing, and education in accordance with the Early Childhood Education Plan. At Fågelsången Day Care, we work actively with the different learning areas and always base our work on the children's interests in each group. By observing the children's play, we identify their areas of interest, which forms the basis for how we develop our pedagogical activities. We strive to create a safe, inspiring, and educational environment where every child has the opportunity to grow and develop at their own pace. An important part of our work is the close and trusting cooperation with guardians. Through open communication and regular dialogue, we create a common ground for the child's development and well-being. Qualification requirements: Qualification in accordance with the Act on Early Childhood Education and Care (540/2018) A suitable basic degree in pedagogical work and guidance, a basic degree in the social and health care sector, or another equivalent degree for the task. E.g., childcare worker, day care worker, and nursing assistant (competence area for pedagogical activity and care of children and young people). Excellent oral and written skills in Swedish. We require: The selected person must present a criminal record extract according to Section 6, subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act (770/1993). The Communicable Diseases Act requires the investigation of the risk of tuberculosis infection for employees in the social and health care sector and for those working with preschool-aged children.
