Temporary role as a peer mentor in Vamos Vantaa (Havukoski, Koivukylä) to work with 15–29-year-olds requiring support in daily life and future planning. Requirements include secondary education (high school or vocational qualification); sociability, courage, ability to work independently; experience in guiding groups or organizing events; accuracy and reliability; adequate English or Finnish and fluent another language (e.g., Arabic, Albanian, Russian, Ukrainian, Tigrinya); familiarity with Koivukylä and Vantaa is a plus. A criminal record extract per law 504/2002 must be presented; extract must not be older than six months. The workplace is smoke-free and substance-free. The role contributes to a supportive and inclusive work culture at Diakonissalaitos; terms of employment include a fixed period 1.9.2026–31.1.2027 with approx. 3–5 hours per week (about 16 hours per month); primarily after 16:00, making it suitable for students. Pay is 15.5 €/h with working conditions under the private social services sector collective agreement; onboarding by a dedicated supervisor and a welcoming orientation.
