We are seeking an early childhood education teacher for a permanent position starting on 3 August 2026 at Näätäpuisto Daycare Center. Näätäpuisto Daycare Center is located near Korson center in a cozy residential area with good public transportation connections. The daycare is about a ten-minute walk from Korson train station. The Näätäpuisto unit includes Näätäpuisto Daycare Center and Maarukka Daycare Center. We work closely together and share expertise. Our daycare was renovated in August 2025, and we offer modern, fresh, and pedagogically supportive spaces for daily use. The facilities enable versatile small group activities, flexible learning environments, and high-quality early childhood education. The shared spaces support play, calm work, and daily activities for various needs. As an early childhood education teacher, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating pedagogical activities for the children’s group in accordance with the early childhood education plan. You will act as a pedagogical guide within your team and create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring daily environment for children together with other staff. Our unit also employs a comprehensive special education teacher and a development teacher. Vantaa pays 1500 euro in relocation allowance to those moving from outside the neighboring municipalities after a six-month probation period. The relocation allowance applies to permanent positions and only to early childhood education teachers, special education teachers, and daycare managers. Job details: Qualification requirement: Early childhood education teacher (qualification according to the Early Childhood Education Act) In addition to the qualification, we require: Good spoken and written skills in Finnish. Terms of employment are governed by the Municipal Education Personnel Collective Agreement (OVTES). Salary: 3129.46-3234.53 EUR/month (including August general increase). An additional 15 EUR/month is paid for those with a qualification as an early childhood education teacher, and 37.88 EUR/month for those with a Master of Education degree. Experience-based salary supplement of 3-8%. Required permits: The selected person must present a valid criminal background check. For those working with children under school age, a tuberculosis examination report is required (Tartuntatautilaki § 55).
