Airport baggage handler

This role involves working at Lapland’s busy airports during the winter season. At Kittilä Airport you will receive inbound flights and guide passengers and luggage through the turnaround process. You will be responsible for unloading and loading aircraft, operating ground support equipment, and potentially driving stairs and related ground handling equipment. The job requires physical fitness and the ability to work in challenging winter conditions. Training is provided; courses in Kittilä on 28–30 October are unpaid for the three-day basic course, followed by on-the-job training. The position is year-round or seasonal; shifts can be irregular, including holidays and weekends. A valid B-class driving license, good Finnish and English language skills, and a clean background are required. Airpro follows the aviation sector collective agreement for pay. Starting salary is from €2,205.06 per month plus TES allowances depending on shift. Transportation to the airport may require own transport due to limited public transport.
