We do work that is of great importance for Finland's security.** We are looking for a SYSTEMS DESIGNER to join our team to maintain and develop an intelligent automation and software robotics service platform. Erillisverkot is a state-owned company with a special mission: we provide authorities and security-of-supply actors with secure and reliable ICT services in all conditions. As a Systems Designer, you will work as part of the business information systems group. You will be responsible for the service platform used to produce business-critical automation solutions to enhance our operations. In your role, you will act as a key link between business needs and technical solutions. Together with an expert team, you will build a whole where we automate functions using data flows between different systems. **During your workday** - maintain and ensure: you are responsible for the operation, stability, and lifecycle of the automation solution platform - interpret and solve: you translate daily business needs and wishes into functional solutions - build and connect: you build integrations between information systems and connect data flows to support automations - develop together with the team: you are part of a team where expertise is shared, colleagues are supported, and agile solutions are built - act as an interpreter: you communicate fluently with different stakeholders – you can explain technical matters understandably and understand business goals - implement new technologies: you actively follow new technologies and evaluate how, for example, AI and language model solutions can be used securely as part of automations, integrations, and the development of our operations. **Your place of work can be located in Espoo, Jyväskylä, or Oulu, according to your choice.** We utilize a flexible hybrid work model, where part of the work can be done remotely. The position requires readiness to travel within the country, approximately once a month. **This position is for you if you have** - experience in the maintenance and development of system platforms (Windows, Linux, databases) - experience with integrations between different information systems and the ability to connect data flows and utilize automation effectively in daily processes - experience in the implementation, integration, or maintenance of AI-assisted tools, language models, or intelligent automations; you speak the language of agents - enthusiasm for automation and an understanding of how it makes people's daily lives easier - a security-oriented and responsible approach to work: you understand our role as part of national security and the importance of information security - a team player attitude: you like to document your work, share what you have learned with others, and take responsibility for your own area - a suitable university degree or otherwise acquired strong expertise in the field.
