Early Childhood Educator

Päiväkoti Engel is a private kindergarten founded in 1993 and located in southern Helsinki. It consists of four small, cozy kindergartens close to each other: Engel Viiskulma, Engel Huvila, Engel Seppä and Engel Albert. In our kindergartens we nurture a warm, communal and encouraging atmosphere with a professional and ambitious team. We are now seeking a daycare assistant/early childhood educator for Engel Seppä. As a daycare assistant you will be responsible for cleaning the daycare, heating lunches, preparing snacks, and other kitchen tasks. The role may also include working with children in a group as an early childhood educator when needed. Our daycare is small, cozy and warm. The position requires excellent Finnish language skills and a hygiene passport. The selected person must hold the qualification of a daycare assistant and have fluent Finnish. The selected person must present a valid criminal background check for work with children before signing the employment contract (Act 504/2002). The position is fixed-term for 1 September 2026 to 30 October 2026. Working hours are 20 hours per week. Visit our pages at www.pkengel.fi.
