We aim to provide impactful services and hope for various life situations. We have operated for over 156 years, providing services to meet people's changing needs. We operate reliably and transparently, advocating especially for those at risk of being left outside society. It is important to us to use our expertise to offer meaningful service experiences. The project worker's role is part of the upcoming Ruokafrendit project. The project aims to develop and pilot a scalable, safe, and efficient operating model for the Lahti region to utilize surplus food from schools and large kitchens for food aid. The project will develop a circular economy-based model where unserved, safely usable food is systematically directed to community meals, food distributions, or frozen for later use. The goal is to reduce the amount of food ending up as bio-waste, improve the availability of food aid, and increase social inclusion. The project worker is responsible for coordinating logistics, the safe transport, handling, and distribution of food and other possible food donations, as well as organizing potential food distribution events. The position is part-time (80% of general working hours, 30 hours and 40 minutes per week). We follow the collective agreement for the private social services sector. We use flexible working hours between 07:00 and 18:00, during which work mainly takes place, but the work may also include evening and weekend work. **Remuneration:** The salary follows the private social services sector TES salary class G20C.
