Are you looking for a responsible and independent finance professional role in an international and growing company? Eilakaisla is looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Accountant for a permanent and full-time position with one of our clients. In this role, you will become part of a growing Nordic company and be responsible for the Finnish accounting. The position offers a hybrid working model. However, the role involves visiting the client's office in Helsinki or Tampere approximately 1–2 times per month. The position will start as soon as possible according to agreement. Your role As a Senior Accountant, you will be independently responsible for the company’s accounting and key finance processes. You will play an important role in supporting management and actively participate in reporting as well as the development of financial processes. Your responsibilities will include: Day-to-day bookkeeping Accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks Monthly closings Management reporting Preparation of annual financial statements Assisting with the preparation of the annual report Preparation and submission of Finnish VAT returns and monthly VAT reporting Developing finance processes as part of a growing organization What we are looking for At least five years of experience in similar finance and accounting roles Strong knowledge of Finnish accounting, taxation, and financial administration practices Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks through to completion Experience working in a growing and evolving business environment Strong communication and collaboration skills Fluency in both Finnish and English Experience with Business Central and proficiency in Swedish are considered an advantage.
