Maintenance Technician

We are now looking for two new colleagues for power plant maintenance in Central Uusimaa: a mechanical maintenance technician and an electrical technician. You will work as part of a relaxed but professional group where things are handled properly, but humor does not stay in the locker room. What you will be doing In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance work of a power plant located in the Järvenpää area. You will do practical work where you see the mark of your own hand directly in the operation of the plant. The work is varied: sometimes we maintain and inspect, sometimes we repair and develop. Working days are not copies of each other, and that is exactly the salt of this job. As a mechanical maintenance technician, your main tasks focus on the mechanical condition of equipment and systems. As an electrical technician, you ensure the safe and undisturbed operation of electrical and automation systems. - Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and inspections of equipment and systems in a power plant environment - Mechanical installations, repairs and equipment updates (mechanical technician) - Maintenance, measurements and troubleshooting of electrical and control systems (electrical technician) - Supporting operating personnel and technical problem solving - Working in close cooperation with the rest of the maintenance team and plant personnel - Uncompromising compliance with and improvement of occupational safety instructions in everyday life What we expect from you The most important thing for us is a good attitude: you are responsible, proactive and want to learn new things. You already have some experience in technician work, but you are not afraid of learning new things. You can work independently, but you also enjoy the team and doing things together. Your educational background could be, for example, in the field of electrical, automation or mechanical and production technology, but we are also interested in practical experience. We value flexibility and willingness to learn the special features of the power plant environment. - Suitable vocational education (e.g. electrician, automation or mechanical technician) - 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, installation work or similar tasks - Ability to read technical drawings and instructions (mechanical or electrical drawings) - Fluent Finnish and basic skills in understanding English technical terms - Readiness for interactive teamwork as well as independent responsibility - Safety-positive mindset and desire to do things right the first time Why you should come to work for us You will become part of an international, private industrial maintenance expert organization with 30 years of experience in the field.
