University Pharmacy will serve customers in the future also in low-threshold health services. Our goal is that our pharmacies across Finland will function even more extensively as service points promoting people's health. We are now looking for a charge nurse to build University Pharmacy's health services with us. In this position, you will influence what the low-threshold health services of the future look like. It is not just about maintaining existing operations but building something new together with a motivated team. As a charge nurse, you will act as the immediate supervisor for nurses working in pharmacies and be responsible for the development of the clinical operations of nursing care. Your duties include: daily immediate supervision and support of nurses; coordinating personnel resources, for example in absence situations; ensuring and continuously developing the quality of nursing care; creating and maintaining clinical operating models, instructions and processes together with the responsible physician; orientation of nurses as well as ensuring and supporting competence; close cooperation with the rest of the organization and partners; participation in the development and implementation of services; occasional clinical nurse work in the pharmacy's health points as part of the job description. We require from the applicant: a qualified nurse's degree (AMK); at least five years of versatile clinical work experience from primary health care; at least two years of previous work experience in supervisory duties for nursing staff; evidence of development of nursing care, preparation of instructions and quality management; previous experience in personnel resource management and shift planning; ability to organize, prioritize and make decisions in changing situations; a proactive and achieving work approach; great enthusiasm for building new operating models and services; good digital skills and ability to adopt new systems; good stress tolerance; excellent Finnish language skills. We consider as an advantage: previous experience of working in a pharmacy environment; a management and/or supervisory degree; experience in analyzing and reporting information obtained from patient information systems. Please note that the job description requires travel to all our pharmacies across Finland and occasionally clinical nurse work as part of the job description. Your main area of work is Uusimaa. The work is scheduled during office hours and the pharmacy employees' collective agreement is followed in the work.
